Matt Gumley is an Artist/songwriter/musician currently residing in fort worth, tx.
At 5 years old, he began studying classical piano. in the years following, he has mastered instruments like the Guitar, Bass, and drums, with skills in Mandolin, Banjo, Sitar, Drums, Saxophone, and harmonica. However, it was during his tenure as a Broadway performer that he discovered his true passion was music performance and songwriting.
In May of 2016, he released his debut single, "Subway Rider", with an EP shortly behind it. His debut 4-song EP, "Six Degrees of Separation", was released in July of that year. Defining his sound one catchy hook at a time, he went on to release 3 music videos to support song releases, with combined total you-tube view-counts of over a million.
Matt Moved to Fort Worth, TX, in early 2023. Since then, he’s written dozens of songs with a new twangy yet bluesy sound, a few of which were released as his first singles since 2017. His first EP in almost 10 years, “CONCRETE COWBOY”, garnered new fans, new shows, and saw two music videos. Matt’s DEbut album, “Good enough”, will be released summer 2026.
