Matt Gumley is an Artist/songwriter/musician currently residing in fort worth, tx.
He launched his career at age 7, performing in new york city in various broadway shows through his adolescent/young-adult years. In addition to live theater, Matt became a regular face in many households, with roles on popular TV shows such as modern family, drake and josh, and law and order. Matt Also voiced iconic characters in many animated children’s tv shows like dora the explorer, the wonder pets, and more.
At 5 years old, he began studying classical piano. in the years following, he has mastered instruments like the Guitar, Bass, and drums, with skills in Mandolin, Banjo, Sitar, Drums, Saxophone, and harmonica. However, it was during his tenure as a Broadway performer that he discovered his true passion was music performance and songwriting.
In May of 2016, he released his debut single, "Subway Rider", with an EP shortly behind it. His debut 4-song EP, "Six Degrees of Separation", was released in July of that year. Defining his sound one catchy hook at a time, he went on to release 3 music videos to support song releases, with combined total you-tube view-counts of over a million.
Matt Moved to Fort Worth, TX, in early 2023. Since then, he’s written dozens of new songs, and released his newest single “home” in march 2024. plans for more singles/future releases are currently in progress.
